New Cl Type S owner In Dallas!

So I just picked up a pretty clean acura cl type s 6 speed. It has 107k. Im in located in North dallas and I bought this car to have a nice confortable efficient car. I just recently Sold my Trans Am ws6 modded to hell to buy this car. The Trans Am was fun and faster than any car I will ever have but it is time for somthing a lot different! By the way I picked this car up for 8000 bucks. Do yall think I payed the right price?

The last owner told me he has not done the timing belt yet so im guessing he was saying he has not done the 105k service yet. Any good shops around would be a plus! or some Diy threads! Were is the best place to buy the parts for this service?

Here is a link to the album the owner made to sell it to me.

OK, you asked alot of questions there.

First off, welcome to AcuraZine. Great car....you'll love it.

We have a Dallas Ft Worth thread going for local meets, its been going for about 10 years now.
https://acurazine.com/forums/texas-319/acurazine-dallas-ft-worth-crew-396371/

For questions about the car you can ask in our DFW thread or do a search in the CL forum. I beg you to search, I promise you that any question you may have has been asked and answered already.

If you cant find the answer you're looking for then let me or any of the Chapter Leaders know and we'll point you in the right direction.

Thanks and again, welcome to the forum

How come you didn't drive the 04 TL instead of the salesman driving for you? That salesman sounds stupid. "Oh so you want a new car? OK sit in the passenger as I drive the car for you. You can make your decision on purchasing a car based on me driving it for you" what a moron.

Also what made you go from a WS6 to a HONDA?!! Pics of WS6 ?? Can't seem to wrap my head around why you downgraded in terms of performance. Was reliability a issue? I noticed you said your WS6 was modded to hell so maybe is that why? So many people in the domestic/muscle/v8 scene talk shit about hondas, and to see you jumping ships just has me curious

I drove it the clutch was literally brand new. Still not even broken in. It was the only tl in the price range I liked just not up to par.

I love muscle cars more than anything but wanted to get something I could drive with a/c blasting and get good mpg. Thats all there is to it. If you wanna see the whole story about my trans am there is a thread I made a couple days ago you could prob look at. Im not a jackass man I appreciate all types of cars imports and domestic. Every kind of car has its pros and cons just about. You have to be a complete ignorant jack wagon to say stupid shit like my cars better than yours bla bla bla. NO that is wrong. I will have another muscle car in the near future. Going to buy a chevelle or late 60s early 70s camaro maybe even a nova somthing along those lines hell maybe even another trans am! That will be my toy this Acura will be my Daily

can never go wrong with a 6spd

it's nice to see someone who appreciates all kinds of cars.. u prolly won't see me around here much cuz i only roam in the 2g tl places, but welcome

if ur engine needs something and u can't find it: 2g tl-s engine= cl-s engine; interchangeable parts

I went from a 1996 firebird v6 to my v6 tsx. Mine was bone stock had around 125k miles on it, I put around 4k into the engine just fixing things. It was getting old, and getting 14mpg city wasn't fun.

I'm also in Dallas. Congrats on the pick up.
