We've been long overdue on our last major GTG & with a few new members joining since, I think it's time for 1 before we all encounter that dreadful 1 week of ice we get each year.

This will naturally be on a weekend, though I'm assuming most will prefer Saturday. I have been giving it some thought to hold a lunch (or dinner, if that's the preference) gtg on Feb 4th. That is the day of Cars & Coffee & I know a few of ya'll make it out there on occasion, so I'm hoping it will be a free day for most (it should also be far enough in advance to help plan ahead). It'll be more convenient for me as well as I've taken the day off.

This however, is not set in stone, so all of you are more than encouraged to chip in what days/times/etc. work for you. If most prefer dinner, we can do that. If most prefer Sunday mornings, we'll do that. It doesn't have to be in Feb. or Jan. if that's what some prefer.

I want to leave this up to you guys to help pool in your thoughts with mine, so we can get a clear view of what works for everyone.

I'm down for a gtg. If it is on that weekend, it would without a doubt have to be on Sat the 4th since the 5th is the superbowl.

 

We had a pretty good turnout at the BJ's in addison. Addison would probably be a good place to meet IMO.

 

I'm kind of seconding this now that you mention that. That was a great turnout & I believe my first time meeting a lot of you guys.

 

Yea I was surprised at the amount of people that showed up...Apparently we needed more chairs lol and tables.

good food and alcohol thats fine...but the only problem i see is the age group if we have younger people show up.

Werd. We know most arent but you always get those few which kinda kills the atmosphere...hopefully we get more ideas we need more input from you guys other than just us the normal people that hang. We need ideas to get more of you guys involved so we can all put faces on names

Hmmm top golf but thats a bit far north unless we go to the dallas one with a ginormous mini golf course. Dave and busters would be my other suggestion.

 

I went to Top Golf this past Friday and had a fucking blast (the one in Dallas, no way the Allen one, way to far). The decent amount of alcohol intake definitely made it fun because normally I don't care for golf.

 

yep they have all you can play mini golf and the food there isnt bad either.

 

Friday i would be off that week but i try to make it i prolly just try to stop by to take a look at all the local ackz i been seen a really clean silver one in plano the other day. Ill bring Chips and Ranch Dip and some Water and Soda'z haha!! i wont try to race anyone. I bring my kiddo too

I think the decision was dave and busters but i do not know which location and what time....however saturday morning is cars and coffee for those that want to go. I will unfortunately not make it because of work but I will be free in the afternoon

I would join you guys if i could. If its lunch i will not make it. If your at C/C top golf allen is pretty close or d/b at the mall but that mall usually packed
