Okay, will let you know as soon as I figure out a couple of expenses.

For those of us who are not exhaust junkies, is that an alternate opening to allow a straight pipe when the valve switches, instead of running back through the resonator and muffler?

it's called an exhaust cut out. Instead of having to go through the cats and mufflers, it just dumps out the port when opened.

Acura Club of DFW

Hey everyone! I want to thank the current 22 members that have joined the Acura Club of DFW.

But we need to get more to join! If you have not joined the website please go out to www.acuraclubdfw.com and click on the register link.

Please make sure to join the Yahoo Group site for our club at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/acuraclubdfw. When you join the Yahoo Group you will have the ability to post messages/emails that will get distributed to everyone else. No need to know everyone's email!

Lastly, please pay the membership fee via PayPal. All membership fees that we collect go toward the cost of running the club and any unused fees at the end of the year go to a charity of the club's choice.

We need to make this club successful so everyone can benefit from it's existence. Some of the plans for our club are:
Organized events such as car shows, car racing, stereo competitions. We'll have social outings that include car cruises, dinner with family and friends. We are organizing monthly or bi-monthly meetings. We will elect event coordinators to help you stay informed on what is going on with your areas of interest in the DFW area.

We are working on getting recognized in Dallas and Ft. Worth with the local preferred dealerships. This may lead to discounts for the club on parts and services. We are also working on using the dealership meeting rooms to host our club meetings!

By next year we would like to host the FIRST NATIONAL Acura event!

Folks--this is very exciting stuff that we can do! BUT!!! We can't do it unless you register! There is POWER in numbers!!! Be part of the POWER of this club! Join and pay the membership fee!!!!!

Get the word out!

Your President of the Acura Club of DFW
Mark Miller

No, they will look very good near the third brake light though. I made them silver because the bulk of our group has silver + silver looks good on any color. I did however make 3 Anthracite ones for E-money.

Notice to all ACDFW members (and anyone thinking about it)!

We need to have our first club meeting. This will not be a social event at Ethans. We need to pick a central point that is good for everyone to meet at. I'd like to hold it at a restaurant with a decent parking lot. The restaurant has to have an area big enough for, i'll guess for now, 20-30 people. It doesn't need to be anything fancy but somewhere that can accomodate a group and give us the ability to talk.

I'd like to hold it this month or no later than July.

Can anyone take this and come up with a suggestion?

I suggest Texas Land and Cattle on Mopac in Austin. It's nice and central to the city, and can accomodate up to 75 people.

Too funny. Something in Las Colinas might be a happy metting place for all the Tarrant and Dallas county folks.

Lord knows there are plenty of restaurants there.
