SOLD!!!

Yep it's sold . . . .

My brother told the guy $30k wasn't enough to make him part with it so the guys bumps the deal up to around $37k and that was too tempting.

Too bad you guys never got to see it in real life.

However, there may be a chance at that . . . the guy is taking it to Super Chevy Sunday at the Motorplex. Baring any conflicts I'm there! The guy may even let Neal or I take it down the track to see what it can do!

I ended up playing volleyball all day today and then went out to eat after that. Maybe I can catch up with you next week.

Track Meet?? 4/8 or 4/15.

Date depends a lot on whether we get the thermo mod in and installed . . .

Edgeracing.com has them for 138 each / 552 for the set, plus about $50.00 shipping.

If you can get him to ship for $600, then its worth it.

I love edgeracing.

so S2000

OR

local guy in Dallas has a 31K miles CLS w/ 6MT And Navi for 22K. I'm trying to decide between the two.

I'm not sure which I think will have better resale value in 4 years when I graduate from school. The guy won't go down on the price at all yet so.. I'm still working on it.

you can get more use out of the CLS, but if you don't care about that, then s2k all the way.

My opinion is that the S2000 will hold it's value better.

There are pros and cons to both, but what's important to you.

Most obvious are the size . . . 2 seater vs 4 seater . .

That's nice . . . I might go back to them for that price . . . depending on how these PZero Neros hold up and perform . . . so far really nice.

Have you guys purchased them yet? Groupbuy coming up?

We're talking ~10WHP / 8 TQ? Think that's really possible to gain that way? I'm just curious what your thoughts are on it, fellas.

the only thing is my folks are giving me so much shit for wanting the convertibel S2000. I would've bought it a week ago if it weren't for their nagging about how little room I'll have to haul shit back and fortha nd whatnot. Plus the car has molded rear fenders and sideskirts so the veilside will be permanent. that might make it tough to sell later ya know?

I sohulda pickedu p that supercharged CLS a month ago in Colorado. I just didn't want to deal with flying out there just to look at it. itw as a good deal though. I'm also trying to find an X5 with about 40K miles for around $25K but that's tough. The one we looked at last w/end was sold by the time we finished our test drive. soemone hadp ut ad eposit on it already over at Park Place motorcars in Dallas. damnit...

groupbuy is coming up. ruf will let us know when its in effect.

Im going off of user reviews. Everyone seems pretty damn impressed with it, and its less than $100.00.

So I figure "How can I lose?"

If the mega motor heads such as Allmotor and scalbert are up on it . . . that's good enough for me.

Ya know, this new car (which is being picked up in NC tomorrow -- whooo-yaa!) is my first American car.

I started with Datsun, then VW, then Nissan, then Toyota, then Acura, then Acura. The CL-S was the first *new* car I've purchased.

Make sure you help with the install in that order. You'll be quite efficient at #3 but not quite sloshed.

At this rate we'll need more tools and helpers. The effort is about 2 1/2-3hrs . . . so we'll need some multi-tasking going on. Probably start in stages to ensure we can follow the process.

We'll be good and by time we get to Civic's . .
