Anyone know of any good but rather inexpensive tint shops in austin?

 

I got my clearshield installed at SunTint on Koenig in N.Austin. They do tinting as well. I thought they did an excellent job on my clearshield at a reasonable price so i would imagine they're tinting services would be up there too.

 

UV Coolers off Pond Springs.. Sterling Acura uses them.. they're quick & fairly inexpensive. I had to retint my front windows since my 5% failed.. it cost me 60... I'd give them a call. They do good work.

 

Recently purchased my 2nd TL, first was 2nd gen, 03. Now stoked owner of 04 satin silver...

Just wanted to drop a line on the board. Very interested in ATX area information, meets, shops, AUDIO, etc... also looking for a reputable spot that powder coats wheels. Love the Acura stock look, just want to tweak some colors.

Will be following the board, looking forward to meeting some area peeps.

im not looking for too much in the way of audio mods. i having been reading about the headache of diy on the premium system. i really dont want to change the stock too much. just wanted to drop some higher quality speakers and possibly an amp. need trunk space and have to go about this on a bit of a budget. i have a family and i already am getting hell about my "new toy"! i have an older box now with 2 image dynamic 12's. theyre in great condition but, not sure about ampage in tl. i know it runs 100 watts, which is obviuosly not enough. can you switch factory amp out? id like to keep stock HU. also, been looking at just 'dropping' higher quality speakers but also, not sure about the fit and the ampage. anyone gone this route? i dont really need hella thump, just want clear, crisp and a bit of thump.

also, need tint, mats, lamp overlays and want to powder coat stock rims, thinking maybe a pewter or gunmetal...

want to keep ride pretty stock. classy with just some tweaks. gonna search this board for some more ideas, any input would be great. want to come flex with you guys at a meet!

Vu and I went to Cabelas last night and had a good time. Lots of cars out there including a 2008 Challenger SRT 8 with a supercharger pushing 575 hp at the crank. Going out there next weekend if anyone else is interested.

There is a one year anniversary Cupcake Meet on January 23rd in Austin. I might head out there with my cousin. You guys will recognize me because I'll be the only NBP TL rolling with a shit load of preludes LOL.

 

Anyone know who owns this AM 3G TL? The guy lives up in pflugerville and I think he owns an IS350 now, and might have moved on from the TL. I found it on Google maps looking up a friends house. This is a sweet TL, although the pic is probably a couple years old. The mods are A-spec body kit, shark mouth grille, dropped, yellow fogs, Type-S headlights & taillights, trunk lip spoiler, debadged, can't tell the rims but nice..

 

hope everyone had a good thanksgiving! how much weight did everyone gain? Oh and as for the update to my car it will be getting installed soon. Won't be completely done but good enough for pictures

 

finished part of the install yesterday with Chtrcy's help. Will post pictures when i have time. It was an audio upgrade. Two old school Phase Linear Thriller Pro 10s and a set of Soundstream Rubicon 6.5" speakers in the front. All powered by Old School Phase Linear PB6. Hits hard sounds good. Its finals week for me so pictures may take a while
