literally 30 seconds after posting this my GF called me at work and broke the news that she wrecked my car this morning.

I ran by the house for a minute to see it, looks like the front bumper got ripped off and the grill is destroyed.

goddammit.

Hope she's okay, no injuries.. otherwise.

As long as there was no airbag deployment, it might be a good thing. Type-s front end with A-spec lip good.

I'll check with him and see what he has in mind. I'll let you know. I also want to get your feedback on some upgrades for my stock head unit. I think it is time to ditch the stock cassette player

Yo, just wanted to say what's up. I've been in the TL game since 04' with my 03' type S. t-boned infront of the Erwin center then went with a Nissan Titan. Now I'm back to the TL. I've got a carbon bronze base 07' bone stock w navi and AT. It's paid off and im finally about to start with the mods. Any body have experience with the aspec kit install? I'm gonna switch my front bumper to type s and just do the type s aspec kit mod on the rear. Any advice? I plan on doing this myself in the next month once the parts come in and time allows for some tinkering.

I don't know about type s aspec, but I did just (last weekend) install base ASpec. I can't imagine it being much different though.

Only suggestion I have is buy some extra 3M tape because you might need it to replace/add a bit more to places that need it. Other than that, it's a really easy install.

Cool thanks. The DIY I've found on here seems simple enough for the rear conversion. Im going to order the rear lip, quad tips from magnaflow and the roof and trunk spoiler this weekend. I'll post pics in the next few weeks.

Meets that I go to are on Saturday nights either in Cedar Park or at Frys off of slow pac and parmer. The Frys meet starts about 10 and is huge but they go race then come back constantly. It ends at like 1 or 2 in the am. Lots of imports mostly but some vettes and such.

it was late so I had to run home and do the family thing and only drove it a few miles. So far so good though, but I will have a better idea tomorrow about the stiffness and overall ride quality you mentioned. I'll post some pics Monday, but the stance is MUCH improved...no more gap up front!

the brakes definitely work, but the pedal seems to depress farther before engaging than my stock setup did. it may improve after the fluid cycles through a bit more. kevin bled the lines a few times to ensure it was clear of air and flowing, so hopefully tomorrow it settles and is more responsive.

Yo! I'm needing to replace my pads soon and I really don't wanna pay a ridiculous amount to have a brake shop do it. Is there any one in the Austin who has either replaced them before or knows a legit shop that won't be so heavy on my wallet?
