Just curious since there are so many out there now ranging in so many sizes and in price. My coworker bought the UE Boom and said it wasn't bad, but I wasn't thrilled with it. I ended up with the Bose SoundLink Mini the other day and I think it's great since it's so small and puts out great sound. Brought it in to work since I stopped at Best Buy before going in and a few people said they want one (receptionist was fascinated about using it with her iPad). I know people bash Bose, but I have it pretty much for everything and can't complain about any of them.

 

The Bose was my second choice. I got the Sony SRS-BTX300. It is a bit bigger and heavier, but portability wasn't as important. Longer battery life, comparable sound, and $130 sale price swayed it for me.

 

While not a bluetooth speaker, I went with a Grace Digital Mondo Internet Radio. I like that it has it's own electronics and doesn't need to depend on an iPod/iPhone etc for Pandora/iHeart. I also got the optional battery pack which allows me to put it on my back porch and not have to plug it in.

 

Got a bunch, they all work pretty much the same and well.

 

Picked up the Jabra Soulmate (not the mini) for $90 shipped from Yugster last year. Great little speaker. Great reviews on Amazon.

I have jambox that was a job gift...works great. My parents have a bose sound dock 2 that Ive used on visits and its very good as well.

I think whiskers put it best...I mean unless you are a total audiophile, most of them are probably pretty close in sound...only so much you can do with tweeters and woofers and digital interfaces in packages that small.
