What's wrong with my laptop?
I turned on my laptop and all I see is this:

It doesn't show up on my laptop screen. So, I have to plug it into another monitor to see what's going on.

what it do!!!! I knew stogie was going to say that.I'd say they're caused by bad memory or hard drive. but probably memory. I know dell's having a diagnostic mode you can boot into if you hit f12 when you see the dell logo, I'm not sure about HP though they probably do look for it to say something like that when the machine boots.
Try running a memory test like memtest86 which you can get at www.memtest86.com
Second pic is blue screen of death. Actual term. Look it up.
Could be related to an assortment of problems: motherboard, memory, bad hard drive etc etc...

the driver specified in the BSOD is a video driver, but it could still be a memory problem. Was it really hot when this happened?
