Weird error in Outlook Express

After I installed Media Player 10, I restarted my computer and went into outlook express and this error came up. It's kind of annoying because I have to hit OK everytime it comes up.

Oh before, everytime i started OE, windows or MS messenger started (can't remember which one) even though I told it not to in the settings.

turn off the AUTOMATICALLY LOG ON TO WINDOWS MESSENGER.

see if that helps. also oscore.dll i believe is for AIM. try signing off that then start outlook.

That "AUTOMATICALLY LOG ON TO WINDOWS MESSENGER" used to be there but it's not anymore, so I can't do anything with it. Exiting out of AIM didn't work.

GO to Start/Run

type this

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

press enter, VOILA

Messenger is Deleted, and Uninstalled, now if u were using it, try re-installing it, I hope that fixes the problem

Umm that was perfect Before, I deleted the messenger directory, and tweaked with the registry and it would start AOL IM when starting OE, then it would freeze.

But this is great...btw can you explain where all that stuff came from? I'm completely lost.

Its actually a shorter form of another tip,

Theres a Line in a Windows .inf file and you have to simply delete it and save the .inf and this run command does all that in one shot
