Whenever I have my phone in 'normal ring mode' and the volume on medium and someone sends me a text msg, it vibrates. I have the default text msg alert sound set to ring 2 or something. What is causing it to vibrate? I'd rather hear the nice loud ringer when I'm home, and just have it vibe when im in class or something

 

also, is there a way to put it into "manner mode" or something where the keypad doesn't beep and it vibrates?

 

nevermind i figured that out

 

its hold the star key, hold it again to silence compleatly everything, then again to turn normal mode back on

 

you can also hold the voice key (the small silver one on the side) when the phone is closed
