can you use verizon phones with alltel service yet? i know that the merger is going through just wondering if it made it that far yet?

 

not yet,
however, if you know a little bit of hacking and your phone has some sort of online-based community (like the motorola razr) you can download a couple of programs and reflash your verizon phone to work with alltel's firmware, etc.

 

FYI Legal day one for is Jan 9th.... Network convergence should be around the end of Jan...
