V710 Bluetooth Connection with Laptop

Anyone having problems with their bluetooth connections with their laptops? I'm currntly using my V710 and Belkin 10 meter(33 feet) USB Adapter. I am constantly losing connection. I can stay connected for about 10 minutes or so and then my connection is lost and I have to redial to connect again. The bluetooth adapter is v1.1 compliant. I keep the phone literally a foot away from the laptop when I'm connected so it's not that. I set up the connection the way boltjames mentioned, I have windows XP.

I have a wireless headset that never loses connection, I never lose connection in my TL, I'm wondering if it has something to do with settings on my laptop or maybe even the Belkin USB adapter. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Try a different adapter. The BT integrated into my Sony laptop works fine under XPProSP2.
