"Use your phone to control your PC"

TOKYO - New software from Toshiba Corp. will let you edit documents, send e-mail and reboot your Windows computer remotely through a mobile phone. That'll let you get work done wherever you may be, including commuter trains or bus stops.

Toshiba is planning to offer the service in Japan by the end of March through CDMA1X mobile phones offered by KDDI Corp.

Similar services with other carriers, including overseas, are in the works, Toshiba officials said.

Hmm...most intriguing...

However, I could see all kinds of problems arising from this, especially hacking...

looks dangerous...i dont see why you would need to control your computer a la mstsc through your cell phone...you should have a laptop for that...and would give rise to hacker attacks

email and at most some file access (streaming files, down/uploading) is all you would really need from your computer on your cell

This isn't really a new concept... you can download apps to control media player on your phone from Sprint right now.
