I'm paying to have someone unlock my phone (N95) as we speak....Im doing this because I can sell it for about $60 more (cost $20 to unlock)...Question is if I do a factory reset on the phone (since Im selling, I want it clean) will I loose the unlock that I paid for? Racheel?

 

I'm going to hesitantly say no, you should not lose the unlock because the lock is firmware (like when you update your BIOS on your computer...when you reinstall the OS or reformat it does not change your BIOS), but it may depend on the phone (iphone comes to mind when you unlock and do a system restore you lose your unlock). I unlocked my BB through t-mo (you request the unlock code from them after you have been on the contract for x number of months), and did several OS updates and system restores, and it does not re-lock it.
