Took the plunge

Bought myself a new phone tonight-v710. The voice recognition is incredible. Hit a button on the side and say "Number dial" then just say the number-voila. Done. No training the phone or nothing. Now I just have to order a bluetooth headset and the memory chip and I'm good to go. So far so good.

nawww, mine works great. In fact I used my bud's the day before I got mine, said "digit dial" and spoke my home phone and voila, ringing phone at home. I love the technology, only wish I could say end call or something like that to have it hang up.

the memory card is sweet. i have about 40 mp3's on my 710. the only thing is you cant listen to them with the bluetooth headset. you should really like the phone.

My V3 doesn't have the same voice recognition software as my old V710. I wish it did. That was always a cool feature.

for $150, is the V710 worth it through Verizon? What do you guys think?

I'm also thinking about buying this phone soon (and maybe a TL to go along with it...). But I did hear there was a recall on them.

Anyone know anything about that? It was mentioned on the TL board, but no one gave any details on what the recall was.

I believe the recall was because of a crooked camera. I read about it on another board when the phone first came out. I wouldn't know or care if my lens was rotated a few degrees one way or the other. Its not like I'm taking professional pictures on a tripod with it.
