I'm going to go buy a new phone today and would like opinions or feedback on the best phone that tmobile has to offer. All i need is text messaging, bluetooth, great speakerphone and daz it. The other stuff is nice, like mp3 player, but I won't use it.

Options are;
Samsung t629

Samsung t619

Samsung t509s

Or the Nokia 6103

I wouldn't mind the Motorola RAZR, but I don't like how it doesn't curve around your face. Too flat and everyone and their mama have one too.

I just bought Samsung t629 about a week ago and I'm very happy with it.

Samsung t509s looks nice but was too thin for me.

The other 2 were blah.

I just bough the Samsung t519, I LOVE It!! i had the t629 for 2 days, didn't like it at all. Just too small and didn't like the plasticy feel on the keys.

I returned the t519 and t629, never was convinced 100% of neither. Tmobile has the crappiest phones to choose. I'm just going to hold off and see what comes out next quarter or buy a unlocked cell phone.

I'm with Cingular but both companies can use the same phones. I like your last idea best, just buy an unlocked phone and avoid the contract extensions. I have been doing this for a few years.

Just make sure that you have at least a dual band GSM phone that supports 850 and 1900 Mhz. I'm partial to Nokia phones and currently use a 6230B. This is a small older bar phone that would meet and exceed your requirements.
