I want a new phone. I was considering Iphone but almost everybody have that and I am not a huge fan of touch screen. I want real buttons. I really like this Nokia N95 or maybe N96. Want to know if anybody have any experience with this phone.
Good things I heard about this phone--
1> Comes with GPS navigation.
2> 5 Mega Pixel camera.
3> Has WiFi, so I can use internet.
4> Don't need any special program/software to download songs like Iphone.
5> Comes with cables to connect to your TV.

The N95 is smaller than a BB? I've never seen one in person but it doesn't seem that way.
Does/Didn't whiskers have an N95?

Never experience it first hand. Read alot of reviews and considered getting one awhile back, but couldn't justify spending $800 on a new phone. But from what I read. The overall consensus is that it is a good phone.
I believe he did when he was overseas.

What's better on the iPhone:
- the touch screen which is bigger and has bigger resolution
- the UI turns when you turn the screen
- proximity sensor, which deactivates involuntary touching, like when wearing it in your pocket or in your bag
- better battery life
Here's what the Nokia N95 provide more than the iPhone:
- it's lighter
- UMTS and HSDPA (3G and 3.5G)
- third party applications (not only limited to safari), not only widgets
- java
- radio
- 5 Mpixel camera
- video capture
- infrared port
- replaceable battery
- not so much arrogance, like Apple Computer
- last, but not least, Nokia is rated as the most ecological company, whereas Apple and Sony are the worst
Let Wikipedia add this: "The iPhone lacks a number of other handheld features that have not already been mentioned, including voice dialing, voice recording, instant messaging, memory card slot, MMS, A2DP (allowing for stereo sound to be sent to an audio device by Bluetooth), common Bluetooth file transfer, GPS capability, text copy and paste, native games, and support for MP3 files as ringtones."
Now thats why I am intrested in N95.

ehh you know there is a iphone 3g out?
so it has HSDPA and UMTS
there is A-GPS in the iphone 3g, its the same as the N95
and you can easily bypass the ringtone lock on any iphone, its really simple to do, and i kind of like it cause you can choose any portion of an mp3 and convert that to a ringtone.
also the weight difference is only 5grams a little less than 3 small paper clips.
plus safari is way better than the browser that comes with the n95. opera on the other hand, not sure about that.
but yea, go ahead with the N95, im sure you will love it.
for me i just wanted a phone, ipod and calendar combined into 1 device, thats why i went with the iphone.
