I don't have a cell phone and I've been able to get by without one without many probs, but I'm thinking it's a good thing to have and might as well take the plunge.
I did have the onStar phone thing on my 03 CL-S and found that convenient at times. I'm looking to have a similar setup where I can buy something like 200 minutes for a year and not have to worry about them expiring at the end of the month or getting into a contract.
I have no need for cameras, color screens or anything fancy. If it costs me more than $150/yr to have the phone + minutes I'll start to lose interest.

I've noticed the Tracfones offer something like this... any feedback on them?
