Text Messaging to and from Europe

My girlfriend and I both have t-mobile and she is going to europe for almost 3 months. Is it possible to send text messages internationally or do we need to upgrade?

Yes it is possible, no upgrade required. 15 cents per message from the states to Europe and 35 cents per message from Europe to the states if she plans using her T-Mobile sim over there.

FastAcura that's not too bad... but you guys might wanna get used to some abreviations of your own, to get the most out of every text.

I'm not familiar w/ t mobile... but why don't u use like aim? unless ur on the go it might be better for her to find an internet connection and you guys can IM eachother... or if u have sprint like me I remain logged into AIM 24/7 and my gf or anyone else can send me messages and I can reply through the internet for free w/ using a single text because the IM notifications are free...
