Temporary Internet Connectivity Solutions

Anyone know of any good providers of temporary internet?

Our office is contractually bound to a February internet cut-off time, but we can't move in until late March.

I was thinking we could have 4-5 air cards in the office here, for a month, but does such a company offer a solution?

Thanks!

It was bigger in England....But it is coming here, but keep in mind that you pay a crapload for the 3G modem with these...

Wait....

Get this....

http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/m...MiFi%20Hotspot

and cancel when ready and pay the $175 or keep it for the year...

tether that bitch. AT&T 3G is the fastest around if you get good reception. In Tampa coverage is great it just really sucks in San Fransisco and New York.

My dad tethers his 3Gs all the time, his isn't jailbroken but he hasn't updated to firmware 3.1 cause that breaks the hack he's using.

Why won't your current provider let you continue month to month? That's dumb.

What about a broadband card router? Not sure how much bandwidth each employee uses, but if its low this might be good investment. Something like this: http://3gstore.com/index.php?main_pa...ase#googlebase

We don't want to unravel contracts and open up a can of worms.

That's awesome Stogie, I'll check into that Monday morning.

I found another place that would be willing to set up a T1 at our office, then break it down when we moved if we would sign a contract for a year of use with them. They use something called WiMax (4G I guess).

Pretty interesting.

Also, how well do you know your office neighbors?

Any chance of setting up a wireless router on their signal for a month or two with their permission and just pay them for the service? Place it in their DMZ and enable security, and you should be OK and they should be comfortable.

Not practical if you have lots of users, though.
