Anyone else get this about getting a new phone? the Sony T226? What's the deal here?

I mean they call it a "gift" but come on . . . What does anyone know about the T226?

 

its cheap..but it works decently, alright phone...nothing to get all happy and crazy about...

 

so if u have a t68i and att wireless
how do u get the new phone?

do u renew ur contract?

 

its an average phone. if you like SE products it works well. i think for an upgrade its 50$ for a 2 yr contract and a 30$ mail in rebate. i don't sell many SE's

 

I didn't sign up for anything new in fact I've been thinking of dumping AT&T. I didn't do anything they sent me something about it in the mail said it be coming in the next couiple weeks and I just got an SSM today that said "Sony Ericson and AT&T wirelss have snt you a new T266 phone to replace you current T68 no strings attached. Questions? Call 866-500-3821."

 

t68 to a T226 is a downgrade

I just recieved this phone from AT&T for free. It just showed up via UPS one day. I promptly sold it on ebay for $50 haha!

 

trust me you don't get anything free form att. i would check to make sure you don't have a new # with att
