stolen phones

Whats up fellas? Quick question, someone is trying to sell me a verizon moto razr for cheap, I am concerned because I think he may have a bunch of stolen ones...When i go to verizon to activate a phone, would they know if it was stolen or not...IM worried that they wont activate phones that may or may not have been stolen....does anyone have any info on this? maybe mikeymobiles?

If the phone was activated before and reported stolen you wont be able to activate it....

If they phones were stolen from a corp store you wont be able to activate them either as the esns are locked in a database....

you can call up customer service and they can check on the esn for you
