Sony KDF TV owners with Comcast
Sony KDF TV owners with Comcast
If you plug the cable directly into the tv without using the comcast tuner and do an automatic channel program (takes about 45 minutes) you'll find you can watch any any on demand movie your neighbors are watching. I'm amazed at how much porn my neighbors watch....even funnier is you can see them fast forward and rewind. porn is much better when someone else automatically fast forwards through the boring parts for you
no idea why this happens or if it's specific to sony/comcast but thought it was cool enough to share.

initially takes some time to scan through your channels to figure out which are the on demand shows. for me they're on channels 82.1-84.4
i told the cable guy about it a while back and he didnt believe me until i showed him.

Works on timewarner as well. People have been doing this since QAM (digital) tuners came out (2+ years ago). Lots of threads on it on the A/V forums.
I was pretty excited too when I made the discovery a couple of years ago.
Although it only takes 5m for my TV to cycle the channels.
In the beginning no channels were encrypted, now the premiums are only available via a box. Usually you can also watch new channels before they release them this way... INHD and INHD2 were like this for many weeks prior to them making it available publically.
Does comcast have HD on-demand yet?
