Someone is running up my cell bill!

Someone is running up my cell bill!
For the past two months my cell bill has been rediculous - After the first month I kept a very close eye on my minutes used - I know for a fact that I did not go over my allowable minutes...But I got my bill the other day and it was $170 (normally ~$50)
I have received calls from people who stated that my number was on their call ID and they were returning my call - However, I never called these people.
I have asked Verizon for a detailed bill (awaiting it in the mail) but my question is - How does this happen, and how am I going to prove that I did not make these calls???

This is strange. I received my bill today and I went over the allowed minutes and I have never done that before. Also a friend of mine got her bill and it was extremely high.
This happen to anyone else.
Oh, I also requested a detailed breakdown.

When Im over billed $120 I tend to be a little suspect, especially since I kept close track of my minutes...And now random numbers show up on my bill

They were cloned from other peoples phone who actually had a valid phone and calling plan. If the person never complained, the person with the cloned phone had unlimited use. The only problem is that they can't recieve any calls.
