I want to buy an mp3 player to use for mainly when i'm working out and running. So i don't need anything big. So i want something light, fairly cheap, works well, and has a pretty decent battery life. But it seems as though the smaller and cheaper priced mp3 players all use regular AAA or AA batteries. I was wondering if any of you guys know of ones with rechargable batteries because it would be a pain to have to constantly buy batteries especially if the player does not utilize efficient battery use.

I was thinking of getting the creative Muvo V100 1 gb.

Downside is that it uses AAA batteries, some reviews say the battery life isn't too good, doesn't seem like it comes with many accessories (All i really want is the armband, but only Creative website seems to have it for a pretty steep price too, i think it was around $20 or so).

Can any of you guys recommend other mp3 players? I don't want any Apple because i just can't justify spending extra money on an Apple product when there are other choices out there for cheaper.

I have a cheap Sandisk with a single 3A battery it lasts a LONG time and my GF's son has an expensive Sandisk with rechargeable and he has to recharge it constantly...go cheap

 

the iPod Shuffle isn't that much more expensive than the competition... *shrugs

and it has 24 hr battery life... definitely one of the best features...
