should I get a camera phone
should I get a camera phone
For all you who have camera phones, is it worth it?
I can't really think of a reason for it. How often do you really use it?
From what I have seen the picture quality is crap, and you have to pay more for service and pay more for the phone.
I was almost done ordering the VM4500 for Sprint PCS when I started thinking about it and realized I can't think of a single use for the camera or the video capture thing.
Someone give me a reason to spend the extra couple hundred for this phone.

I bought the LG camera phone from verizon simply because it was the only phone that I liked. I have never used the camera and probably won't. I wouldn't buy a phone just for the camera option.
I specifically bought one WITHOUT a camera (LG VX4500) because a lot of places are cracking down on their use.
Some of the places I visit for my job require that you leave any cameras with the guard at the front desk before you can go onto the site.
There are regulations being developed as we speak for other “common areas” like health clubs, pools, dressing rooms & such prohibiting their possession.
Too much hassle and as mentioned above, the quality is pretty bad when you’re used to a 4 or 5 Megapixel digital camera.

yeah i don't use the camera much at all cept for wallpaper shots of cars
but i really like the front window display and voice activated dialing...hopefully, software upgrades for the LG6k will offer more than just the scrolling time on the display...maybe some news headlines or some shit you can have patched in via 'Get it Now'

the vx4500 was $10 cheaper, i said for $10 its worth it
though i later found out that the vx4500 had speakerphone, and this doesn't, but i still think this is a more attractive phone
