Just purchase Samsung D500 and I have T-mobile as my service provider. Few things I have to ask.

1. I got all my WAP setting so I can access to t-zone, but if I were to put another website to download ringtones or wallpaper, it says 'my plan does not support it'. Does it happen to all D500 users since T-mobile does not support this phone or is it just me with my family plan?

2. I just ordered the cable off ebay to transfer mp3 files. I was told to download Easystudio software. Any recommendation to in what order I need to install it? (For example, install software first, then my driver???)

3. My phone has chinese character in it. It also came with chinese manual. Friend of mine has indonesian and vietnames. Is this normal?

What site are you going to, to download the ringtones?

1 - If you are going on the T-Zones site, yes it will say not supported as its not a T-Mobile Supported Phone, it happens with all import phones.

2 - Why dont you just get a Bluetooth adapter, its almost same price as a cable and you can use it for many other things, Or use Infra Red, If you install the Software it will detect your cable, just tell it which comport

3 - Thats just the country of origin it was made in.

 

from what i've found, bluetooth adapter range from $40- $50.. and cable was only $10 shipped. Plus I heard it transfers quicker.

I can access to T-zone site and I can even download things from it since I set up my WAP setting, but I was trying to access third-party site. such as www.3gforfree.com

One more question: no matter what size of photo I take, when I set a phone as called ID for certain number, it doesn't come in full screen. Basically, when it reeives a phone call, picture seems to be shrunk and appear in the middle of the screen. I would like that to be full screen (same size when i took the picture) any idea?

 

Thats just the software, Samsung Created it to shrink like that, maybe theres a hack.

The reason you cant access external sites like 3gforfree is because you have to pay $4.99 a month for full T-Zones, what you have is Free T-Zones Most Probably, if you are paying and still have problems call them up, and make sure u got to wap sites
