remote control software

Do you guys know there is a secure way from remotely controlling computers over your corporate network through IP? I have tried PCAnywhere and WinVNC, anything else out there? Thanks!

Depends on what OS you're running.
If you have XP Pro, then remote desktop is built in.

I think he asked for a 'secure' method of remote admin. Would that disqualify Bill's built in remote admin function?

I like VNC because its free and there are even Linux versions.
VNC is a little slow though.

Netop - supports most OS' now days, also, the school version allows you to control a whole room or building making them watch everything you do. The issue is licensesing, 5 clients 1 host or vice versa. With this you can go watch what someone is doing in stealth mode so that they dont know somoene is watching, great way to get someone fired.

MS SMS (Systems Managment Server) 2.0.

Only controls PC's, but will also allow you to distribute software, critical update patches, hardware inventory, etc.
