problems with my laptop keyboard

i have a compaq laptop and all of my keys work except the G and H keys. However if I lay my laptop in some weird position like turned over 90 degrees the two keys work again. Do i need to replace the keyboard or is something else wrong? by the way the warrenty ran out couple of months ago.

thanks in advance..

Just like our cars's lights being one piece, if one part breaks all of it needs to be replaced. More than likely, if u call comcrap up, they'll tell u u need to buy a new keyboard from them.

my laptop keyboard had keys 3,E,D and C go out. if i hit them enough, they would work again, so i had to get it replaced, take it to a service center and have them replace it

Damn compaq's... I say try cleaning first too- get one of those air sprayers... We used to have the 7370's and they had a problem w/ the mouse in the keyboard where it would constantly drag across the screen... If you flex the keyboard, it would stop- for a little while anyway... Those damn compaq's... Just bitchin, sorry.
