Phone died out of no where
My friend has a Samsung SGH-D500 phone. One day out of the blue, it shuts down (not sure if it was sudden or with the actual shut down sequence) and it doesnt charge or turn on. Could it be just a battery problem? I was thinking that maybe a desktop charger for the battery might help since there could be something wrong with the charging mechanism inside the phone itself. I am no guru when it comes to phones. It doesn't turn on or anything. Seems like a dead phone.
Samsung refuses to fix it because they said it was not made by them in the United States. I guess its sorta acceptable since the phone was made by Samsung in Korea or something. Has anyone had experience with local phone repair places?
