Do they make good phones? I don't know anyone with one and was wondering if i should stay away from it? Thanks

 

Pantech makes a good basic phone. My wife has one and she likes it.

 

Check Cnet, which reviews phones along with computers, cameras and cars.

I think the Panntechs are so-so phones (my 11-year old was interested in getting the tiny little flip-phone last year, so I checked it back then, but we managed to talk her out of a cell phone. ).
