Hey, anyone know a way to have Outlook automatically take an attachment to a file and move it to a folder? I'm guessing this is something that can be done via the 'custom action' or 'scripts' part in rules, but I'm not sure.

Heading over to MS forums now, but thought I'd ask here too, I know there are some Outlook experts around....

There may be a server side rule, but there are many 3rd party programs that will do this.

That's why they pay me the big bucks....

 

hmm, never set up a rule like that, but the abilities of the rules are fairly wide. You might be able to tell it to save every attachment somewhere when recieving new email.
