Outlook Question
Outlook Question
I was wondering, in Outlook (I have 2002), is there a way to create a field that sorts items by the date and time that they were deleted? Obviously this would be in the deleted items section.
Often I leave things in my inbox as a reminder to myself. Sometimes I delete them but when I need them again it's a bitch to find.
I know, I'm a moron...
Thanks,
Rich

Try adding the "modified" field to your deleted items view.
I just tried this on Oultook 2003 and the motified field contained the time of deletion. Ofcourse if you go and modify it again the field will change.

Do you have the Received field in your deleted items?
If so, just click on the field and you should see an arrow point downards...
that means its sorted by time received....most recent on top

i have "received" but that doesn't work. i want to be able to sort by the time i actually delete it from my inbox, or whatever other folder i delete from...like how you can sort the recycle bin on your desktop.
i tried "modified" too but that doesn't work either.
thanks anyways guys =)
