To or not to pull it out...

Does pulling the antenna on the cell phone really do anything??

Or it just makes a fool of us all?

It's there for a reason. Adding cost to a phone to put a non-functional extending antenna on it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

But some manufacturers have a lot to learn about antenna design....

Then you are probably using Sprint or Verizon? You won't notice on a CDMA carrier. CDMA is either all or nothing.

I like to think it works, but maybe its just a psyche thing... like all those pedestrians in NYC who, for YEARS, pressed those disabled red buttons when wanting to cross the street.


But if it does, i wonder how cos the antenna piece is just a thing plastic piece which doesnt seem to be attached to anything else.
