I want to buy this phone but I'm not sure how loud teh speakers are. Because few months ago I bought Nokia 3230 ( I think it was 3230 not sure) and I couldn't hear the ring if the phone was in my pocket. I love the speakers on my S700i, its loud when it rings. Does any one have this phone?

From what I hear, the speakers are very loud and clear. Only main issue with the phone is the build quality. Some folks have complained about squeeking noises from the plastic parts.

Overall, it's a great phone. I plan on buying it in about 6 months when prices come down.

Possibly, but the phone is too new to get such a significant discount. I would wait until Feb. before you start checking out prices.

Its a neat little phone. Only problem is the PTT feature only works with Nokia's cellular push to talk all over the world and is not compatible with Cingular's.

 

I have been looking into the 6270 for purchase myself. I like it a ton, just dont want to pay a ton. How would the discount look if we bought 3

And for the speakers, it says it has stereo speakers for 3-D sound. Sounds good to me.

btw whats the difference between 6270 and 6280/82?

 

6280 is a CDMA phone and has EDGE

6270 is a Quad Band GSM Phone with GPRS
