So after being a loyal T-Mobile customer, well Voicestream when I first started with them, for 5 years I finally dumped my service when I inquired about a phone upgrade. The thing they did not understand was the "up" part of upgrade. I singed a one year contract with AT&T on one of their national plans. With the one year contract agreement at best buy I got a V600 for 49.99. So far I love the phone.

Yeah, I ported over my number, it was a lot faster than I thought it would be. I had heard horror stories about how people had to carry around 2 phones for days, but only took like 45 minutes.

hows your service though compared b/w T-mobile and AT&T? ex: dropped calls, signal etc..

 

the new service is very similar, I have a lot greater signal in my house, I used to only be able to use the phone outside with T-Mobile, with Att it works great inside. As I expected there are places I used to get service, I now don;t and vice versa. I am happy in the fact that i have more mins, better phone, and for teh most part better service, and i pay 10 bucks less per month. The real test will be when I go to Alaska next week. I go every year, and with T-Mobile my coverage sucked donkey balls, i did not expect great service but i expected some.

right now i have 400 anytime, unlimn night and weekend, and 1000 m2m on verizon for 39.99/month. I want to upgrade phones (i havent yet gotten a new phone and ive had them for over a year) and plan (without a money incrase, if possible). Any suggestions?

 

depends on if your on a 1 year or 2 year plan, u should def go and talk to a sales person and see what they can do for you...

 

mikeymobiles..i am soon due for my two year plan ending in sept...will the v710 be out by then? and are you affiliated with verizon? Do they have the best deal for a family plan in terms of minutes and texting?

 

i work for verizon directly, dont know when 710 will be out...and fam and texting..is diff depending on how many mintues u need or texts u use....

Ever deal with these guys? Are they legit with the rebates? I heard stories about scams on rebates not being fulfilled on free phones after 4 moths of service.

 

not sure, but it is a very large corporation so i'm sure they would fullfill in sending the money to you, they usually have the mail in rebates cause the company recieves commision for every contract they sell and to recieve the commission the account has to be active for a certain amount of months and when they recieve the commission is when they send you the check...its quite easy to understand for one person to get paid the other must get paid sorta like dominoes?

 

The reason why i know them is because they are master dealers for att, t-mobile, and nextel they actually do sell about 40,000 phones a year...they deal directly with the companys....all the small stores have to deal through masters cause they dont do enough numbers to deal with directly...so yes they do have some creditbility....big companys wouldnt do business with another company if they were scamming...

That Porting number law is really screwing Cell phone Companies, before a Company basically owned you because they owned your number and no matter what you would have to stay with them, because u cant easily get a new number, its such a pain

 

Seems like my Att service suks im about to chnage to t mobile. sometimes i dont even recieve incomming call dont know if its my phone or the service.
