Need help with Phone Choice
hey guys, right now i am in the market for a new phone as my nokia 6270 is starting to crap out on me. Anyway, I have narrowed down the choices to either Palm Treo 750W, Cingular 8525, Cingular 8125 I really like these phones because I can get a protection plan with them so if they break, i can get a replacement without spending 600 dollars. My bro has the Palm Treo and has only given him the problem of no wi-fi and the turnable screen like in the cingular 8125/Treo 700. If you guys can recommend any more good PDA phones (no blackberry) that have touchscreen and can work on the cingular network, i appreciate it.

Stay away from the 8125, unless money is an issue. It is old technology at this point.
The 750 and 8525 are similar in funtion. The 8525 is slightly ahead of the Treo in the tech dept., Wi-Fi, BT 2.0, 2 MP camera. The question is one of form factor. If one-handed use is a must, the Treo (or Blackjack) is the way to go. If you like the sliding full qwerty, the 8525 is your choice.
All run WM5 (lets hope for a free upgrade to WM6)
Also, I'm using the 3125. It's not as functional as above, but its small flip phone form factor powered by WM5 made it the right choice for me.
Sorry if I was repeating things you already knew
prefer the touchscreen. I already had the blackjack for a while, but the buttons on the navigation thing were level and i would push the end key all the time by accident. It really doesn't matter aobut 1 hand or 2 hand use, but the way it is going, either 8525 or Palm 750. Just to add anew additon to this, how about the Nokia N95, even though it it is expensive, had no carrier backing and is running symbian OS without a touchscreen, the 5MP camera sticks out.
