Need Blackberry help please

I just got a Blackberry Curve 8520 for t-mobile...However, I am on ATT. I got it unlocked and popped my SIM card in, and all is well except my contacts did not transfer from my old phone...(LG Xenon). I saved the contacts to the SIM, but the the BB says "no contacts".
Is there some way to load them up or something?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated,
Thanks!

The format for the contacts is most likely incompatible.

Is there any way to change the format, or do I have to manually enter all the info?

The Xenon shows that all the contact info is on the SIM card.

You need the Blackberry desktop manager (it's free) and do the transfer that way.

I am downloading it now, thanks.
I am not technology-literate in the least, can you just give me a brief explanation on what I have to do...It would be greatly appreciated.

Well this program allows you to do backups of your Blackberry for one thing, so it's a good idea to install it to begin with. You'll need to do a contact transfer, the newest blackberry manager should allow you to edit contacts.

I havent used the newer versions in a while so I'm not much help, I'd recommend www.crackberry.com for any specific questions you have that can't be answered here.
