My audiovox 9900 blows- Verizon question

Well I have a audiovox 9900 and I love the phone except the reception. At my house it has horrible reception and drops so many calls, half the time when my phone is called it never rings and shows no missed calls, voicemails come an hour later.

I bought this less than a year ago and was wondering under verizon's policy if this phone could be replaced or something with another phone. What should I do?

threaten them to leave, isnt there a legal law in which they cannot bind you to a contract if your home area does not get reception or something to that extent.

That would be cool considering I dont get service at my home either...oh, and my phone drops about 30-40% of calls even with full service.

The only company that actually takes threats seriously is t-mobile...they pretty much get on their knees and beg for your business...

and there is no law about reception....people have to understand wireless is not perfect...and towers can not be put up everywhere...

what did you do before cell phones?

Well I have been doing cell phones for well over 5 years, first Accessories, and now the full line, and during that time my family has had gas stations, fast food chains, convenience stores and etc, so I have worked a little everywhere, and we have had some random stores in the malls, why you ask?

I ask to see how long you've been in cellular, you should know if you've been in the game for a long time that wireless is not perfect..and that there is no law stating that if you dont get service where you live you can leave the carrier...hence what you said in the previous post::

I know what you mean, but I havent had any customers that tried this approach, or me try it for them, I know always there is a Contract Breaking Fee, but I had a buddy who had a cell place who once told me this, What he basically told me is, that if you move and in your new area the company gets no service, you are not bind to pay monthly fees for a service you cannot get, but I dont know the exact facts.
