MS Excel Question

Looking at the screen shot I posted below, is there a formula that will tell me how many y's there are in column H?

Do you mean Y as in the conditional format you have to make the cell red?

Looks like COUNTIF should do the trick.

Try:
=COUNTIF(H2:H28,"y")
