Mozilla Firefox issue... need some help

a few days ago firefox stopped remembering my passwords when i close out of it. nothing has changed in my settings, and before this it was remembering stored passwords fine. Im not sure what the issue is and i even tried downloading firefox again.

as you can probably tell this is an issue that directly affects my acurazine experience as i have to re-login everytime i open up firefox . if anyone has any help to offer it would be greatly appreciated.

Back up your bookmarks and mail, then unistall and wipe out everything relating to Firefox under %userprofile% would be an extreme step. I'm not sure uninstalling will get rid of your personal preferences file, which is possibly corrupt.

Someone that uses FF might be able to give more precise directions on which file it is; I'm an Opera user.
