Does any user know how to enter a name into the V600 phonebook with multiple phone numbers (e.g., home, mobile, work, fax, etc.)?

It looks like you have to enter the name in multiple times, which is dumb.

After you enter in the first Name and Phone number scroll down to "......more....." and It will let you add mobile,work, and home numbers for the same name. This also works when editing a phonebook entry.


When viewing phonebook the numbers will show as separate phonebook entry.

I have a V-600, and I've been trying for days to enter another name with "cell" added so I know which number is home and cell...each time I add "cell" it just goes in the phonebook with the same name..and drops the "cell" that I added. I've tried several times, and this is driving me crazy. I end up with the name twice, the two numbers, but the phonebook won't accept the "cell" after the name. What's up with this??

 

When adding another number to the same name make sure that you select right the "type" as well. The number will be stored as two entries in the V600 phone book and the type will display on the right of the screen as a symbol... I dont think you cann add two numbers to the same name with the same type in the V600 phone book...

 

How do you guys like your Moto V600? Im getting one in a couple of weeks...

 

I have had mine for a week, LOVE IT! Pairing was easy, phone looks great, I didn't want the camera, but now I'm really glad I have the camera.

Only one complaint, battery level dosn't show on HFL, but I understand that It will with firmware update. Oh, also, won't answer in BT mode with phone closed, so either keep clam open when expecting a call or say "transfer" after answering calls on your cell phone.
