I just got my wife the Motorola V220 through Cingular. Her phone does not have Internet(not set up). I found a site (Zedge.co), but you need to download it into your phone through their site, but her phone doesn't have internet, so I can't do that. I would imagine that a program exists that you can install into the computer and transfer stuff into the phone via USB(kinda like the Nextel WebJal software). I'm looking for any sites that I can download ringtones and put them in her phone..I tried using webjal with her phone but it didn't work. Anyone have any sites for me, as well as a program to download into the phone?

 

It's just ring-tones... no program. Any help?

You'll need to download a couple of things. Do the search ...

You'll need this file:

1) Motorola Phone Tools (about a 17 meg download)

Follow the directions on the homepage. You'll need to download version 1.23 then upgrade to version 2.16. I wouldn't download version 3 ... 52 megs?!

OH ... you might wanna download the USB driver just in case! (Install that file first before linking up your phone such that Windows will detect your phone)
