Sprint has it's own music store already, with 2 phones and more to come this year. Those Motorola/iTunes implementations are not coming off so well according to reports.

yeah but who wants to pay $2.50 for a song PLUS the $15-$25 data plan you have to have....seems pretty silly IMO.

I just saw the report and decided to post it. Because i didnt know they were going to do it, and it seems to be a better idea then the rokr.

Personally, I dont care about listening to music on my cell phone. Its why I have an ipod (2 of them.)

I dont even have any music on my treo.

Out of curiosity, what you do think airplane mode is and why would a consumer be interested in it?

Just asking for a little bit of "free" marketing research, Sprint came up with this, the guy who named it "airplane mode" first, he sits right down the aisle from me, I always thought no one really cared if the phone had an airplane mode or not.

Airplane mode doesnt matter, because airline people still make you turn it off, whether its in airplane mode or not.

i don't know how to answer that question because of The Sarlacc's statement. i've been on airplanes and they make you turn off the cell phones coz it affects the navi of the plane. so my guess is it allows you to keep your phone on w/o the navi interferrence? but while in the air, who gets a signal . already hard enough to get a signal on the ground. which is why i asked what it's used for

v3 was a phone i was considering this week, but opted for the v635i.

supposedly, v635i has better reception/clarity. but, that's not to say that the v3 doesn't have excellent reception either.

i went to for function over form. saved $100CDN on the hardware too...

I got the V3(black) at bestbuy for 100$ with a 60$ mail-in rebate...so it cost me 40$...good deal imo.

i was so sick of sprint.

same... i want it too...

but I know that is gonna cost way too much for me...
even the v3 right now is still sort of expenisve....if you buy it without a contract.

When the V3i comes out, the V3's will be much cheaper, and I will get the V3.

I figured that The V3 is good enough for me... I don't really feel like paying over $250 for any cell phone. But thats just me....lol

If FIDO can't come with a good contracted deal with the V3i, I will just purchase the V3 online for close to 250 CAD.
