I love my v710!!! I upgraded from a v60i. I really like the big and clear screen and the ability to put MP3's on it

You can't use Mobile Phone Tools over bluetooth. And I don't think it will talk to something like a PDA so the PDA could tell the phone to dial a number for you. You can't transfer ringtones and pictures over BT. BT headsets work and you can get a computer on the net using the phone as a modem over BT. BT issues aside, I'm happy with mine.

Verizon makes you pay extra to fully use the bluetooth functionality of the phone. Thats the only bummer of it..

V710 is has alot of locked out features. I had 2 of them, and they both died after a couple months use. I went into verizon, and they said that they haven't sold 1 V710 that didn't come back with all sorts of problems. Don't buy one. Just don't. End of story.

Here are some things that went wrong with mine:

1. No games from the factory. (verizon makes you pay)
2. No bluetooth pairing between phones.
3. No bluetooth syncing with your computer.
4. No bluetooth data transfer of any kind, other than headset.
3. Sync with data cable, no data transfer....nothing.
4. Since you can transfer data with the usb cable, they make you buy the transflash card. ($50 when I bought mine).
5. Transflash card works great in the computer, then you put it in the phone, and you lose data...I won't see some pics or mp3's just on a whim. The firmware for the transflashcard reader is SHITTY!

And not only all of these crappy feature and function options, but both phones that I had just up and died. Go to verizon and ask one of the technitions what they think about the V710.
