Microsoft Word document help.

I have a Microsoft Word doc that I fill out for my mileage expense. But there is 1 column that I need to expand as the field is too short. How do I do this? I tried dragging but it does not let me expand the field.

Help!

Thanks.

Try looking at the top where the margins are. You may be able to expand it by using those.

Might be autofit, right click in the cell and go to Auto fit and play with the 3 options, if the first one is being used, its fitting to text and won't let you expand it.

If it's only a little bit too small, and the above options don't work, change the font size of the cell you're having a problem with. If you make it just a little bit smaller to fit, it will be hardly noticeable. Don't make a huge change like from 12 point to 8 point, though, because that would look stupid.
