and Spaces, which came out in 2007. So from a Mac perspective, it's about time Windows caught up!

And #1 Stunna, just in case you wanted to try it in slow motion on one of your Mac's, since you've used it for 10 years, you can press the SHIFT button while you do it. Also, if you want to see some future Windows 7, 8, or 9 features, you could always buy Snow Leopard.

LOL....Dont compare ease of use between operating systems. You should test out a mac, it does those things you just showed. They were already on a mac for the past 5-6 years in OS 10.4. It's called Expose. It does those two things and more. You can use Spaces, and use two screens (or up to 16) for different windows. You can use expose to switch easily between windows just swipe 4 fingers down on the trackpad and it displays all your open windows. In Windows you have to go down to the task bar and click on the one you want. They tried to copy it with that windows tab thing and it would shuffle the windows, fail!
Even Walt Mossberg a well known huge Apple fan agrees with me that the taskbar and window preview is better than anything Apple offers

Oh... and by the way, here is the video for that, from 2003, its much better now

Okay Mr. #1, I don’t think you understand the whole point of this thread. The point I am trying to make is that Microsoft cloned the Apple store. I really don’t care about the point you are trying to prove because Apple had the idea first. Do you think Microsoft actually thought of that on their own? NO! They took the original idea from Apple or whoever and tried to make it something else, you make it seem like it has never been seen before. So get with the program! I really don’t care about what you say about Microsoft, they didn’t have the original idea. They are now the followers, regardless of how nice their product is; all of a sudden they are the pioneers. And to follow Apple to the most minute details is pathetic! From the introduction of the store to the design and features of the store. How original! They could of at least come up with some stuff on their own... maybe pick uglier shirts if possible but something different! DIFFERENT!!! You sound like the designer of the Amanti... acting like you’ve never seen a Jaguar S-type.
PS I definitely really don't care about how long you've been using your Mac, it's almost 2010, things change.

Lets stop bickering guys... Both have a purpose and they both work great, although MS does have a big market share (not just with OS but many other things like ERP and CRM systems, games and bla bla bla.) so they can do whatever the *&^% they want. But look below.

Microsoft is pretty big and its hard to keep track of what all they do - everyone focuses on Windows. As stated in this thread, they don't make hardware, but Newegg seems to have some non-software items. In fact, their hardware is rated very good.
As far as being innovative, as I said before, Microsoft prefers to acquire technology from outside and integrate it with their products. If you've ever worked for a company that is a certified Microsoft partner, you would be amazed at the level of support they can and will provide you to make your product work well. In effect, you are kind of working for Microsoft and everybody wants everybody to succeed. So if you're bashing MS's innovation, you're also bashing the innovation of a lot of smaller companies.
In another way, Microsoft is innovative through their Research department. No one ever talks about it, but they are kind of a skunkworks department that can do whatever they want without any deadlines.

^ Cool.
On top of that... Here is one related research item that MS is working on, there's more...

I had a wireless MS keyboard and mouse combo and it fucking sucked!! It was a complete piece of shit and waste of my money!! It had good features, were comfortable and all but the damn things kept getting disconnected all the fucking time! So I'd have to flip it over and then hit the connect button on the USB transciever and on the devices and reconnect them over and over. That shit sucked, after while I got sick of it and went back to my Logitech DiNovo Edge and I've never once had a problem with it getting disconnected.
But then on the other hand I was at a clients office and they had all Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse sets and it was disconnecting on me worse than my MS one was. They said it happened all the time so IDK. I do have I simple MS optical mouse that I bought back in 2000 and it's my main mouse today and I love it. I want their new bluetrac mouse though but I don't need it, so.... I'd look into to getting the magic mouse if it worked with windows.

I think they have some deals on them right now... I think they come with the new line of iMacs, not too sure if you want spend extra $$$ for that. Anyway, call me a hypocrite but I'm upgrading one of my computers to W7, I just can't stand Vista.

fuck no I'm not getting an iMac just for a mouse that I don't really need. Only thing nice about that mouse is the physics on the scrolling. Everything else I can do with my mouse but it requires buttons. Oh noes buttons!! How primitive
how long until Apple releases a mac with no keyboard???
