Microsoft Outlook 200X question!

Okay, I'm perplexed. I'm trying to install a legit copy of MS Outlook for my fiancee...and each time I open it, it says "Your microsoft exchange server is unavailable." I have only three choices: Retry, Work Offline, or Cancel...

This makes no sense since her laptop is standalone and she's not connecting to an Exchange server? Am I missing something here?

Any help would be great, thanks!

Control Panel, Mail And Fax (or Mail in Vista), Show Profiles. Delete whatever is in there.

There must me a mail profile that is set to talk to Exchange.
