Well since my laptop doesn't have an HDMI port, and I'm not looking to buy another one anytime soon, I decided I might as well invest in a HTPC that will connect to my TV and I won't have to have a laptop in my lap as I'm watching TV anymore (If I want to surf the net at the same time).

Do you guys have one? Any suggestions? Things to watch out for? I'm not looking to spend too much on one, probably less than $300.
