LG VX6000 Battery question

i have 3 bars left on the battery, i set it on the charger and the red light goes on, about 10 seconds later the light starts flashing, ive never seen this happen before, does this mean something?

that means your not putting it on the charger correctly

its definatly going on there right, i dont think the batterys dead, ive only had it since june or july

push it down all the way if its even a millimiter too high itll flash
